Beat The Clock is a white glove, original sponsored video series by USA Today. It focuses on business founders addressing climate change as they work tirelessly to thwart environmental degeneration. Despite the somber subject matter, the tone of the series strikes an uplifting note as each episode explores a positive way forward.

To strike a balance between content and tone, I created a simple but bold system of colors, lines, and shapes that literally "highlight" the solutions put forward by the business founders.

Additionally, the black-and-white grainy footage treatment was created to highly differentiate the stock b-roll, used to illustrate general dire climate change subject matter, from original uplifting and cinematic footage shot specifically for each episode/subject.
